Intl Equal Pay Day

Building on UN’s commitment to human rights and against all forms of discrimination, including discrimination against women and girls, this day is observed annually in global solidarity towards the achievement of equal pay for work of equal value. It is estimated that the global gender pay gap is about 23% and much wider for historically marginalized groups such as women living with disabilities, Racialized women, Indigenous women etc.
