Int’l Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women

Observed annually to raise public awareness around gender-based violence, to prevent and eliminate violence against women and girls around the world, to increase both policy-making and resources dedicated to ending violence against women and girls worldwide, to call for global action in increasing awareness and promoting advocacy to create opportunities for discussion on challenges and solutions.
