Intl Day against Nuclear Tests

While commemorating the closure of the Semipalatinsk Nuclear Test site in Kazakhstan on 29 August 1991, this is also an annual observation for increasing awareness on the effects of nuclear weapon tests and the need for their cessation as one of the means of achieving the goal of a nuclear-weapon-free world.
