Indigenous Veterans Day

Celebrated every year in Canada to honor the service, bravery, courage and sacrifice by Indigenous Veterans. Canada’s colonial legacy and racism has meant Indigenous service members and veterans did not receive and have had to fight to get the recognition and commemoration they deserved. This day commemorates and honors the service and sacrifice by Indigenous Veterans across time and generations.
